Refresher Cycle A- Must Do's for Patrollers2023 OEC
All patrollers, also those who are abroad, coming to the refresher must do BEFORE arriving-
1) To prepare for the 2023 OEC Refresher Cycle A Skill Session in Hintertux.
Log in to the Member site of www.nsp.org, enroll and complete the 2023 OEC Refresher Cycle A Online Modules (instructions at the end of this email).
- There is again no physical, paper workbook this year or moving forward. Find attached a PDF-booklet with 2023 OEC Refresher Cycle A Skills Material as well as the OEC instructor’s Guide.
- Credit for the 2023 refresher will not be granted, until you have fully completed the online portion and attended the in-person portion of the refresher.
- You will not need to print your certificate to bring to the in-person refresher.
- This refresher is designed to be taken in smaller sections. If you need to take a break or return to finish you may, and your place will be saved in the modules. Just follow the instructions of the online portion.
2) To register for the annual Division Refresher 18-19 November 2023 on time via https://nspinternational.org/.
This is the new website of our International Division. All our members and guests will find information about events and will need to register in order to attend an event (OEC and OET Refresher, OTH etc.). Registration via our new website is necessary for planning and organizing the events.
If you are new to the website and this is your first time registration, please email the webmaster and tell him you've just registered and you'll have full access normally in 1 day- webmaster: fergusbrae@gmail.com
3) We hope to be able to offer a CPR/BLS course. Everyone who needs to renew the 2-years BLS certificate OR only the annual CPR skill refresher needs to send this information as a “comment” when filling out the registration on the International website (see instructions below).
4) Everyone needs to check his/her “profile” on www.nsp.org!
(Is your “Outdoor Emergency Care” status CU (current)? If blank, or shows a D2, D3, or D4, get it in contact with your PD ASAP! Have dues been payed? …)
5) Bring first aid kit - expired material is best for using it at the refresher.
